A bit about commissionworks4pets

Pets are a pleasure to paint, each with their own unique personalities shining through which I have always loved to capture. I have painted animal and wildlife subjects since early childhood and am now enjoying the ideal career to support my other artwork.

Due to my experience I usually have portraits completed within 2-7 days from recieving your order depending on the current workload and can keep my prices super low so everyone can afford a beautiful original portrait!

Other commissions

Yes, I do take commissions in a 'surreal, lowbrow, big eye, fantasy' style or of real subjects! The mediums for larger pieces are oils, pastel and graphite and collectable miniatures (ACEOs) in watercolour, oil and graphite. Of course these are more expensive than my promotional pet / people portraits and charged at my standard prices with a deposit required once I commence the piece. I can also offer payment plans to suit.

Real subjects

For a realistic subject I need to know the subject, size, medium and other details such as a style you like, colours depending on subject. I will work closely with you showing the composition layout through each step to the finished art work ensuring you are happy with the way it progresses. The more you can tell me about what you like the better results.

This type of commission will be done in my own style, I'd like to know the mood and feel of it, an idea of the subjects, size and medium. I do ACEO art cards to plan out larger paintings and if I haven't allready done one based on a miniature you like please ask.
